Al is a business/economic development consultant with over 30 years of experience in the government, chamber and non-profit sectors. In his senior government positions Al worked for 6 Governors to facilitate economic growth and create jobs for Floridians.

Al has a unique combination of consulting expertise and an intimate knowledge of the 70-plus business industries he worked with as an economic development executive. His firm integrates his unique insights and uses state-of-the-art research tools and processes to provide the best client solutions possible. Al is a conscientious communicator who has built a personal brand of being a highly ethical individual, strategic thinker, and outcome-focused relationship builder.

Al is a native Floridian, born in Winter Park. He attended Lyman High School in Longwood where he was a three-sport letterman in basketball, football and track. Because of his athletic success Al was inducted into both the Lyman High School Hall of Fame and the Seminole County Sports Hall of Fame. 

Al attended Ferrum Jr College near Roanoke, Virginia where he continued to excel in football and track. When his career at the two-year college was over he received a scholarship to Clemson University. As a tribute to his exploits on the football field Al was inducted into the College’s Sports Hall of Fame.

At Clemson University Al continued to compete in football and track. The NFL came calling when his college playing days were done. He played a total of five years of professional football for the Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, and Detroit Lions.

Al has served on many boards, and is a strong supporter of community based initiatives and causes. His sole board focus these days is the Fellowship of Christian Athletics, which has been an important part of his life since he was in the seventh grade.
